Transportation

Whidbey Island offers all the transportation options you need for getting out and about.

Whidbey Island Ferry: Many Whidbey Islanders commute each day by ferry to Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond and other business centers. The Mukilteo/Clinton ferry crosses between the mainland and Clinton every half hour and is only a 20-minute ride.

Island Transit: There is free transportation to and from the ferry along State Road 525. Island Transit also provides transfers to Langley, Scatchet Head, Bayview, Freeland and Greenbank. Routes run continuously up to Deception Pass, and there is only an hour between pick up times on most routes.

Airport Shuttle: Several airport shuttle services run between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and Whidbey Island; the ride is just over an hour.
